Mellow mornings call for mellow beats. This one is R&S’ Andy Whittaker putting out a chill little number for Thump.
This tune is setting the tone for my weekend. Superior quality and groove from the Dusky camp is what you’ll get on this 17 Steps release.
Presha, he of the Samurai Music crew, has done up a mix ahead of his Japanese tour. It’s a collection of genre-bending, brooding beats that is more angry ambient techno and head filler than what you might from a typical Samurai release.
This is Alix’s way of thanking his fans for their support. I’m all about this new approach that producers are trying where you are given the option to either support monetarily or not. Choices, choices. My pick of the pack is Understand. Give it a listen.
The upload on this is only two hours old and I’ve already tracked to the beginning of it, after 20 minutes, twice. I’ve essentially rewound a digital mix on my computer. I love you, internet. Calibre, Ireland’s most prolific and lauded drum & bass producer in the world, helms the first 56 minutes before Craig […]

My favorite resource on all things Drexciyan is the Drexciyan Research Lab, which meticulously tracks all the archives and ongoing side projects from surviving member Gerald Donald. “Epsilon Aquazone we’re going deep” […]
Omar Souleyman is truly at home in the Just Jam studio:
The Outlook Festival, one of Europes’s biggest and baddest, has asked the original “crackhouse” don to knock together a mix for them. It’s a precision blend of tech house, classic reworks, some bass joints, a few deeper tunes, and (of course) the aforementioned crackhouse sound.
