LSB and DRS combined their super powers, alongside Tyler Daley, on last year’s massive tune from D’s album, The View. This year they’re headed out on a Japanese invasion and they’ve been kind enough to rock a promo mix for the tour.
One of my favorite producers/DJs has just had his live mix from Fabric put up by Med School Music. Anile, he of the 9pm bedtime crew, rolls out some heavy hitting choons with Inja handling mic duties. Steady Friday listening, seen? Oh yea, Anile’s Allergens EP is available for pre-order too, so get you some […]
I was digging through an old hard drive last night and came upon this mixtape that I ripped as part of my cassette mixing project from a few years ago. Ed Rush – Live in 98 was a tape I picked up from a discount bin at a used CD store in Dallas. The tape […]
Finland’s DJ Anonymous has more than two decades of work behind the decks. He first came to my attention years ago thanks to his Suomi Soul series of soul and classic R&B mixes (which it looks like I need to re-upload). So while I was checking around for of his new material, I stumbled upon […]
Darrell Invaderz got off his backside and knocked together a 45 minute mix yesterday. No tracklist on this one, but it’s a good Tuesday morning work primer.
Today’s listening is a chilled-out deep house mix that was passed to me by Lady Natascha. Airy, summery, mellow…it’s been a nice little respite for a droll work day.
FIYAH… This mix is absolute fire. I will be blaring this over and over for those who happen to me in my vicinity for several weeks. Can’t find a track list, which kinda makes me love it more.
Straight from Crazearoni himself: Almost two years ago Ivy Lab sent me their new album 20/20. I was expecting DnB cause they’re the dons at it but instead it was all this futuristic tuff boom bap stuff. I loved it so much I asked to mix it for them (mixtape mix not production mix 😉) […]
I’ve talked about Amerigo Gazaway’s many mash-up albums over the last few years and he’s dropped a new, summer-themed mix featuring a lot of those same tunes. Beats from Kool and The Gang, Prince, The Phracyde, Erykah Badu, and Dam Funk make the mix essential seamless summer listening.
This mix is a scorcher from a legend in the underground. I haven’t been on a house journey like this in some time. This is years of hard work coming to fruition right here. A craft perfected… By Felix Da Housecat.
