Jack Boston – The Place/Always There

Jack Boston (formerly just Boston) has been a staple on Break’s Symmetry for the last couple of years. His sound fits well with the overall vibe of the label with a combination of heavy bass-laden tracks and a touch of soul.

The Place is the aforementioned bass driven number with the sultry vocals of Vanity Jay pushing the track along. You’ve definitely heard this track on a dancefloor in the last few months because the cadence of the vocal stands out from a lot of recent numbers in the same vein. I know I heard this tune more than a few times at Sun & Bass back in September because it absolutely fits the festivals beach feel.

Always There is an amen induced collaboration with Madcap. Rolling jungle vibes and that touch of liquid mark the tune as an energetic floor mover. The brass section of the tune is the real hero in this gem, setting the pace and giving it a rave-y-er feel.
