In addition to his masterful DJ work, watching him do his thing in the video below is quite captivating too. This was recorded about three months ago at the Boiler Room in Amsterdam. The setup there seems unusual just because he’s facing the camera and not the crowd, but I’m told this is standard operating procedure for those events.

Damn it was a hot summer. Combination of the CARTE BLANCHE REVUE tour and BUSY P+DJ MEHDI adventures kept me on the road almost non-stop since June and lack of updates here or there can attest.

Nevertheless, in partnership with the good blokes at TSUGI MAGAZINE, I have the pleasure to offer you this new SUMMER MIXTAPE, mixed live at Paris Social Club in August.

The mix is almost exclusively tech house with very light smattering of techno.

His early releases on Good Looking/Looking Good like Golden Girl, Time and Butterfly are still in my standard listening rotation 10 years after their release. Not to slip into hyperbole (even though I will), but the man is a freaking genius. Anyway, while browsing through some recent tracks on Soundcloud I found a 4×4 house/techno mix he did last month. It’s pretty mellow stuff, but has a nice bump to it and its good summer listening.
