It’s called A Taste of Things To Come (A 91-93 Retrospective). If you were around in the beginning, you know exactly who Robbie B/DJ Ruffneck is, and why this mix is so landmark. He’s not only famous for being one of the originators of the jungle sound in the United States, but also for his seminal piece of writing “Why I Quit” written on the Strictly Jungle Chicago site roughly six years ago. He’s the only guy I know who’s famous both for his entrance and his exit.

This mix marks a return to DJing after a six year haitus, and is a five minute mini mix mashup a la Annie Mac’s Radio 1 mixes. It was put together in Ableton Live as an experiment to see if classic jungle and uk ardcore could be done with a midi controller interface, to see what it would take to build the samples to be mixable, and play it out live optimally, in a rapid fire format.
