Roy Davis Jr – Live on Haight
This tape rip seems to be everywhere I look lately so I thought I’d give it a spin. It turned out be everything I always imagined a Roy Davis Jr. set would be: smoothly mixed house anthems. I’m going to guess, based upon the track selection, that it’s from somewhere in 97-98 and the sound quality is pretty good. I’ve always dug Roy simply because he’s responsible for my favorite house/garage track of all time. About the only negative is that “Gabriel” does not appear anywhere in this set.
